Celebrating Spring With The Big Door Wreath Company

Faux Tulip Wreath

There’s nothing I love more than pretty flowers dotted around the house especially as the days get warmer and longer and the drudgery of winter gives way to spring. Fresh flowers have always been my preference because faux always had that slightly cheap air about them. Since starting the blog and writing more and more about interiors, I’ve come across some absolutely amazing faux flowers that look so good you’d never be able to tell unless up close that they aren’t in fact real.

Browsing Instagram a few weeks ago and losing several hours in the process (!) I came across The Big Door Wreath Company, spying the prettiest spring wreath hanging from a front door. And then I saw the tulip wreath and that was that – there was no question that Project SE London Home needed a wreath for our front door. As much as I love our house transformation and grey and white combo, a bit of colour to spruce things up is very welcome so I popped over to the Etsy page to place my tulip wreath order.

A mere few days later and my package arrived, well boxed and wrapped with pink tape. The wreath is absolutely stunning and looks even more beautiful in real life than it does in the pictures. The colour combinations work so well together and it comes complete with a pre-fixed wire loop so you can hang it easily. As it stands, the picture I posted on Instagram on Sunday evening of the wreath hanging on our front door is shaping up to be one of my most-liked posts ever so I’m not the only one who loves it!

This isn’t a collaborative post of any sort, I just really love to support small businesses. The wreath cost me £45 and you can order them here

Ooh yes. I think I need one. Gorgeous. I had one in the autumn for the first time and no one got it – too early for Christmas and too pretty for Halloween! For me it was to make the house look lovely and seasonal. All year round wreaths are the way to go.

Oh Lins, this is absolutely stunning! I had to do a double take and have another look when you said the flowers were fake, I really thought they were real tulips. I really think it’s good value for money too
