After a lovely little break to the Cotswolds where we walked, drank gin and generally ate lots of pub food, it’s now back to reality. And doesn’t it feel autumnal? Before we went away I was still hanging washing on the line but even though we were only away for a week, the log-burner is prepped and I’m sure will be lit very soon.
I must confess, autumn and winter are not my favourite seasons but I’m going to get on board this year and embrace the colours, the cosiness, the trends. It has to be done really doesn’t it? It’s time to enjoy living in the moment rather than wishing the months away until spring.
