Home Etc #123 – Home & Interiors Bloghop

Home Etc 123

Happy 1st November everyone and welcome back to this week’s HomeEtc! I got fully on board with trick or treating yesterday and even worked from home to welcome any early callers. It’s so fun to join in with the local community where we live and share the fun. Even if my pumpkin carving skills leave a lot to be desired!

In DIY news, our third bedroom is coming along nicely. The Valspar grey ‘Silver Thistle Down’ looks so pretty in this light-filled room. I do struggle with motivation to actually finish projects though, is anyone else like me or am I alone? I always love seeing progress but then get so easily sidetracked.

I’ll be linking up the work we’re doing to add character back into our home in the linky below and can’t wait to read your posts. Please make sure to comment on your host post each week (not this one, the one that’s in the linkup labelled ‘HOST’) and as many others as you can. Myself and Caro always to make sure to comment each week we host as well as sharing on Twitter so do tweet us once you’ve linked up!

THE HOME ETC FAVOURITE

The favourite for last week was Claire at Pillar Box Blue. She shared a wonderful upcycled no-sew advent calendar using denim jean pockets and it’s such a clever idea! Her tutorials are very easy to follow and I’m completely in awe of her creativity.

Congratulations Claire  — you’re now in the running to win this month’s voucher from our fabulous sponsor, Laura Ashley.

Now it’s your turn, please do join in with any home/upcycling/DIY/craft/interiors-related posts.

HOW TO LINK UP…

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up, plus a couple of others.

Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet us @booandmaddie or @twinklediaries with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and we will always retweet. We will pick 1 favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner.

This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor Laura Ashley. Don’t forget to keep using the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram too! We just love to see your Instagram photographs and remember next week your host is Caro!

What a cool advent calendar idea! Such pretty halloween decor Lins, definitely a lot more inviting than some of the doorways we saw last night. x
