Home Etc #97

The Big Door Wreath Company Tulip Wreath

Another rainy Bank Holiday weekend has been and gone – doesn’t it feel like they’re coming thick and fast at the moment? We did typical BH activities – a bit of gardening, a bit of painting and even two trips to the tip, what fun. Sometimes though those mundane but productive weekends are exactly what I need to feel like we are making progress in this great big renovation of ours, no matter how small.

The furnishings and accessories are also starting to arrive to finish off our bedroom makeover so I can’t wait to unveil it all in a few weeks time when it’s ready. Little by little we’re getting there.

So back to this week’s #HomeEtc and I’m co-hosting with the oh-so-stylish Jess and as always we’re really looking forward to any of your interiors/DIY/craft/home-related posts. Week after week there are just so many ideas and I’m the nosiest person who loves seeing what people are getting up to with their homes.

Last week’s favourites were:

HELLO NANCY’S BEDROOM MAKEOVER

Nancy has such beautiful style and taste and I’ve long been an admirer of her creative decor. She has effortlessly combined the modernism of Scandinavian design with some vintage inherited pieces and I think you’ll agree the end result is so beautiful.

Hello Nancy Bedroom Makeover

EXTRAORDINARY CHAOS GARDEN PROJECT

One of the reason’s I love the #HomeEtc community so very much is because of all the incredibly creative and crafty types there are sharing their projects and ideas and Sarah’s post is the perfect example of this. Her garden table upcycled with tiles looks so sophisticated and will hopefully herald in the 2017 summer we’re all waiting for!

Congratulations ladies — you’re both now in the running to win this month’s voucher from our fabulous sponsor, Laura Ashley.

Now it’s your turn, please do join in with any home/upcycling/DIY/craft/interiors-related posts.

HOW TO LINK UP…

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up, plus a couple of others.

Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet us @booandmaddie or @JessSoothill with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and we will always retweet. We will pick 2 favourite posts each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner.

This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor Laura Ashley. Don’t forget to keep using the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram too! We just love to see your Instagram photographs and remember next week your hosts are Caro and Kerry!
