Interiors Inspiration from Kaleidoscope SS16

Hotel Cafe Royal

Last week I had a little break from the normal day job routine and took a couple of hours off to pop into town and view the new SS16 interiors range from e-tailer Kaleidoscope. Now I must admit – Kaleidoscope as a fashion collection I’d heard of but wasn’t aware they offered such a stunning and well-priced range of homewares.

A suite at the Hotel Cafe Royal was cleverly styled to show how items from the Kaleidoscope collections could be used throughout the home from kitchen to bedrooms and into the garden. Seeking French inspiration for part of the new spring/summer range, I loved the Plume Blue Screen which would look beautiful in our guest bedroom.

This might just be the prettiest tea light holder too, possibly a little too big to try and pretend to Pete that we’ve always had it.

We’ve been looking for new tableware for a while as ours is struggling after nearly a decade of great service and these quirky pieces really caught my eye in complimentary shades of blues and greys with their irregular shapes. They’re simple enough for every day use but also interesting enough for a dinner party or special occasion.

And if we had our kitchen extension finished and I was able to furnish it with pretty new things then this DeLonghi high-end toaster in copper would be top of my wish-list.

Kaleidoscope are focused on bringing their homes and interiors collection to a wider age group and it’s apparent how well they’ve done to curate pieces which would appeal to different generations – as I was wandering round, every “room” contained pieces either my Mum or I would be delighted to have in our homes despite having quite different taste.

The teal Ascot chair and matching storage footstool are upholstered in a soft velour finish and there were so many furnishings to pair up with the colour including this pretty cushion, whilst the Chinoiserie bedding below is one of their best sellers and a top favourite of mine.

I’m waiting for payday to go on a little interiors shopping spree now that I’ve discovered so many beautiful pieces for our home and it’s definitely inspiring me to keep on forging forward with our renovation plans…I just wish their were more hours in the day.

And the last words to the beautiful interiors of the Hotel Cafe Royal which also has a spa, my Christmas list for 2016 is forming just perfectly!

I was invited to attend the Kaleidoscope SS16 interiors preview but all images, words and opinions are my own.

I love the teal chair, I keep trying to convince my husband that we NEED a brightly coloured chair in our living room but are trying to hold off on anything new until the children are a bit older! So many nice things, you must have had a lovely day xx

The teal is gorgeous isn’t it? I too want a brightly coloured individual chair in our living room but it will have to wait until the decorating is done. Which has to wait until the floor and ceiling are changed! #neverending Xx

Hello Lins! Thanks so much for linking up with us! My house was hit with the dreaded winter sick bug last week so I’m so behind with my comments. Just catching up now! SO weird — I used to work on the Kaleidoscope catalogues!! I worked at Freemans, the mail order company and Kaleidoscope was owned by the same company! This is such a blast from the past for me!!! My everyday dinner service is Kaleidoscope!!

PS #HomeEtc is live tomorrow from 6.30am xx

That range is gorgeous. I would have snapped up that crockery straight away. It is right up my street.
