Style & Design: The Bruzzoni Toothbrush

Bruzzoni Toothbrush Black Rose Gold

Interiors blogging has taught me a huge amount in a short space of time. That I like copper. That it’s ok to paint small spaces dark colours. And that there is such a thing as a sexy toothbrush. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you The Wallstreet Collection from Bruzzoni and oh.my.goodness this is a game-changer for designer form. Have you ever seen such a good-looking toothbrush?

I have to confess to being a bit of a pedant when it comes to dental care. Not because I go to the dentist on a regular basis, because I don’t. But having gone 37 years so far without a single piece of treatment on my teeth, I am very particular about my teeth-cleaning regime. No matter what you read, a manual toothbrush can never do the job of an electric one. And as I’ve never even had the hint of a filling I feel fairly qualified to make this bold statement.

The Bruzzoni electric toothbrushes have an oscillating speed of 8000rpm and a running time of 40 minutes. It feels slightly strange to have a round head instead of an oblong one when brushing but I quickly got used to that. It’s been doing a great job of keeping my pearly whites in tip-top condition and it’s so helpful to have a second electric toothbrush instead of carting one between our bathroom and en-suite. I also love that if you press to hard when brushing, the oscillating cuts out so you can’t damage your teeth!

Taking the very important matter of does it work out of the equation (I’ve been using it for a month now, and yes it does!), just LOOK at it. I mean really! Because I don’t know about you but I need a sexy toothbrush in my life and in my bathroom. With a matt black body and rose gold trim, it’s as luxury designer as it gets.

The pack includes a travel pouch, spare head, protective head case, USB charger and plug adaptor. On the brush itself is a small LED which indicates when the brush needs charging. I haven’t yet charged it through my laptop but I’m tempted. Every little detail is considered by Bruzzoni. The shape and feel, the finishing touches.

If the black is too much, it also comes in a white and silver combination. There was only choice for me though to fit in with our recent bathroom makeover. And if you want to get one for yourself, they are available exclusively through Selfridges. Smitten yet? You will be.

Do you know where I could get replacement brushes for my (white) Bruzzoni toothbrush?
I love the device but the Company seems to have disappeared.

Hi Peter, unfortunately not – I think John Lewis were selling them at one point but don’t know if they still are. I had quite a big stock at the beginning. Sorry to not be of more help.
