In the past couple of weeks I’ve been making more effort to get out and about during my lunchbreak at work. It’s been more than 13 years working for the same company and a large part of that has been wasting time at my desk eating lunch whilst reading rubbish gossip columns online or working and I’ve decided enough is enough. London is such a great city and even after 14 years of living here I’ve barely scraped the surface.

Last week one of the places I headed to was a new-ish cafe in Neal’s Yard Covent Garden called Salad Pride. My efforts were handsomely rewarded with a delicious salad and the most colourful buildings. Worth the super-hot school-holiday Tube…

    Have you heard of La Boca in Buenos Aires? This place reminds me of it :), love the colour!
