My Sunday Photo – Warehouses

Bermondsey Street warehouses

These gorgeous warehouses are on Bermondsey Street in London and with the stunning blue sky above them it was the perfect photo to take as we made our way to Maltby Street Market on Saturday morning. Of course the warehouses have long since been converted into offices and business but it’s a stunning reminder of a bygone time.

I love the detail on these buildings. Great that they have been converted and not knocked down. I hope you had fun at the market. #MySundayPhoto

Tell me about it, there is so much construction going on in this part of London at the moment I worry the character will disappear but these remain unscathed for now X

Yes my husband and I say that too – central enough but not too busy. Just perfect.

Thank you Merlinda, after such a wet June and part of July it really does feel as though we’ve been spoiled with this lovely last couple of weeks X

I often look up and think about the architecture, this is a great shot. If only buildings could talk!

Yes! I get really sad when I see houses with boarded up windows and wonder about the history they’ve seen and the life that was lived there X
