Recently, I’ve developed a bit of a “thing” for cushions. There are 4 cushions across two sofas in our living room, a cushion on a chair in the dining room and a cushion on the sofa-bed in one of our spare rooms. If I had more places to put cushions, I would.
As a result of Instagramming one of my more random choices, I came across The Cushion Room. Founded in 2015, all The Cushion Room’s designs are individually hand-made, making every bespoke cushion entirely original and only one in each design is created. Inspired by reusing and recycling a variety of fabrics from cottons, silks and velvets to hessian, the aim of the brand is to deliver luxury homeware at an affordable price.
If you’ve read any of my other posts, you’ll know how obsessed I am with detail when it comes to our home plans and renovations which has been very interesting to discover about myself since I’m not that way at all about anything else in life, certainly not my own appearance. Yet for the home I love the idea of filling it with beautiful pieces that have a story, or that just “work”, where quality and appearance is everything.
With this in mind, we’ve teamed up with The Cushion Room to offer you the chance to WIN one of their beautiful cushions, The Mini Patchwork “Lazy Days”. Worth £20, the cushion measures 14×14 inches/35x35cm and is filled with 100% natural duck feather.
We love the colour scheme and name – lazy days are after all surely everyone’s favourite kind of day and it would work well with any colour scheme or in any room.
Plus, you’ll have something designed and made in the UK and completely bespoke, what’s not to love about supporting home grown and independent business?
To enter, pop on over to The Cushion Room’s features page on their website. At the bottom of the page you’ll see the guest book – simply leave your name, email address and the comment “Lazy Days”, easy peasy!
The competition runs from July 1st to midnight July 22nd and a winner will be picked at random shortly after, UK entrants only.
We’re really excited about the future of The Cushion Room, have a browse of their website to see all the beautiful items available as well as keep up to date with their news via Twitter and Facebook.
