I don’t know about you, but I still haven’t finished my Christmas shopping. It’s not unusual, just call me ‘Last Minute Lins’. Every year I swear it will be different and every year it’s just the same. Muji has a special place in my and Pete’s hearts. More than a decade ago now (er, how?!) we decided to give Muji candles as our wedding favours complete with a little caricature of ourselves stuck on top of the tin lids. It was an inspired idea until we realised sourcing the candles wouldn’t be so easy. Cue an evening raid on Central London where I dashed to Tottenham Court Road whilst he hit up Selfridges as between us we bought up all the candles we could find. On reflection it sounds quite crazy but our guests were happy!

I love simple, stylish serving bowls and wood for me is so aesthetically pleasing (plus much harder for my clumsy hands to break!) How pretty would this look with a vibrant salad?

I would absolutely love one of these, such pretty but simple detail. They’d look perfect either hanging on the wall or sitting on a shelf, I might have to pick one up for our hallway.
5) PP Cover Monthly Weekly Diary A5 Red, Now £10.35
I’d be so lost without my diary and always look forward to getting a new one each year. I love the graph paper in this allowing you to make notes opposite each week.
