Home Etc #105

1930s Home Makeover SE London

It’s all looking a bit moody and masculine round here at the moment. Last week I visited the Kitchen Aid Experience Store in Central London. They were showcasing the new black steel collection and we were treated to appliance demos and lots of black food. Now at #projectselondonhome, we’re in the middle of a black and white mini bathroom makeover so I’ve been sourcing lots of black bathroom accessories. For someone who likes colour so much it’s a real departure from the norm but actually I’m excited to try something different. Far from being safe or dull, I actually think black is incredibly chic.

More on our bathroom makeover in the coming weeks  – we’re definitely going to finish this project #famouslastwords

Now, onto our favourites from last week’s #HomeEtc link up, thank you so much to everyone for joining this fantastic community!

INSIDE OUT – VICTORIAN BATHROOM REVEAL

From the tiles to the colour to the style, Louisa’s bathroom makeover is amazing. Feeling ever so slightly jealous at the moment.

WHAT THE REDHEAD SAID – KITCHEN EXTENSION

I’ve been following Donna’s extension progress since the beginning, especially as we’ll be doing something very similar as and when we eventually get round to it. Their new extension looks incredible and it’s clear to see is giving Donna’s family the space they want and a wonderful additional quality of life.

Congratulations ladies — you’re both now in the running to win this month’s voucher from our fabulous sponsor, Laura Ashley.

Now it’s your turn, please do join in with any home/upcycling/DIY/craft/interiors-related posts.

HOW TO LINK UP…

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up, plus a couple of others.

Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet us @booandmaddie or @JessSoothill with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and we will always retweet. We will pick 2 favourite posts each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner.

This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor Laura Ashley. Don’t forget to keep using the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram too! We just love to see your Instagram photographs and remember next week your hosts are Caro and Kerry!

Link up your posts below, we look forward to reading X
