Well I can’t quite believe it but our wonderful two week holiday to Malaysia has now been and gone. Booked back in January to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary (which was actually LAST July), we’d been looking forward to it for so long. Just like that, in the blink of an eye it’s all over and instead of basking in 33 degrees, cocktail in hand, I’m now back at work with a Spring that doesn’t ever feel like it’s going to happen!
Thank you so much to my wonderful co-host Caro for holding the fort for two weeks in a row, it’s about time I pull my weight isn’t it? It feels fairly quiet on the #HomeEtc front these days, so if you do know anyone who writes home and interiors blog posts please do let them know to come and join in with us. We don’t bite and love to share people’s posts and what they’ve been up to.
Dare I say it but I’m quite looking forward to getting back into the swing of blogging again. I purposefully took some time out whilst we were away so am feeling all kinds of rejuvenated. It helps of course when you have beautiful bedding to come home so a HUGE thank you to Christy Home who very kindly sent me a set of their new Haruki range bedding. It’s so pretty and super soft, a perfect bedroom refresh.
But anyway, enough from me here’s over to last week!

It’s always exciting to find interiors gems on our travels isn’t it? I’m literally obsessed in trying to hunt out all the best shops especially when we go on our autumn UK holidays, poor Pete is very patient with me. Last week one of our long-term supporters Steph who writes at Life At 139a shared this fabulous shop called Unique based in Heatham, Norfolk. Just looking at her pictures it looks exactly like the kind of place I could spend a few pennies, don’t you think?

I am in love with that bedding. When my self imposed bedding ban is over (I bought 3 new sets last month) I might get it for our spare room!
