It occurred to me the other day that it’s just 7 weeks until I finish work for the Christmas break. My goodness how this year has flown! And dare I say it, autumn isn’t so bad after all. Mainly because we’re finally making progress with home renovation plans and I can hardly believe it’s happening.
Gone is our puppy and kitten accident stained living room carpet. In its place a beautiful engineered wood herringbone floor. The lining paper has been stripped from the walls and the fake artex is off the ceiling. We’ve replastered and repainted and it’s most definitely looking like a totally different room.
I’m not sure it will be finished by Christmas but I’m already overjoyed with how it’s shaping up – watch this space!
But back to last month’s link ups, Caro and I are really enjoying seeing how the community is expanding now we’re on a monthly hosting so THANK YOU to everyone who continues to link up, it’s greatly appreciated.
THE HOME ETC FAVOURITE
There’s nothing we love more than seeing an epic project come to fruition here on Home Etc. And so it was that Caro and I unanimously chose Steph from Renovation Bay-Bee’s AMAZING NEW GARDEN for our worthy October winner. She as gone into so much detail (which of course appeals to my fussy retentiveness 😉 and left no stone unturned in her quest to make her outdoor space serve every possible need for her family. It’s truly inspiring, there’s a even a designated doggy toilet area!
