The Westbury Modular Living From Willow & Hall

There’s nothing I love more than versatile living. Whilst we’ll never outgrow this home of ours, in the three years we’ve been here we’ve already re-purposed a few of the rooms to make our home work for us – a busy couple with two pets who need space for guests but not necessarily designated bedrooms aside from ours. We’ve already turned our little 4th bedroom into a home office and our second bedroom is full of ‘stuff’ that needs to find a permanent home.

Our third bedroom is currently the only space we have for visitors but it’s important to make our friends and family feel comfortable when they come to stay. Enter Willow and Hall, a curated collection beautiful sofas and beds, handmade by craftsmen with over 35 years experience from the factory in Wiltshire. They have recently introduced ‘The Westbury‘, a modular sofa and sofa bed designed for modern living.

Here’s what they say about the latest addition to their collection:

‘The Westbury is our most versatile sofa yet, navigating living spaces like a ninja thanks to its innovative modular construction. From bijou studies, to galley style guestrooms, The Westbury can configure, expand, and shrink in size – so if your family should happen to grow, or you decide to downsize to a smaller dwelling, you can be confident that this modular beauty will adapt with you.’

I’ve written many times before about how quality, provenance and heritage are important to me both as a homeowner and a blogger. I’m not interested in fast consumerism and a throwaway culture, preferring high quality items that will last and wherever possible manufactured in the UK. Offering style and luxury as well as designs that look beautiful, Willow and Hall tick every box.

The Westbury is available as a 1, 2 or 3 seater sofa or sofa bed with the choice of an ottoman to create a chaise-style and the benefit of extra storage. It can also be made in a wide range of over 100 fabrics and leathers and the choice of three luxurious mattresses up to 14cm deep. Sounds like the most blissful way to get a great night’s sleep to me.

Behind the scenes, Willow and Hall offer such a wealth of ‘extras’ – handmade and delivered within the UK in 4-5 weeks which is phenomenal for a bespoke, crafted item. They have a delivery slot of 2-3 hours and the item will be fully assembled by their delivery drivers, with any old sofas being taken away for a small fee of £40. There is also a 14 day return policy in case you change your mind (but really, who would?)

I’m delighted to announce that Willow and Hall have very kindly offered a reader discount of 5% across their entire range – if you’d like to purchase The Westbury or any other products online, please use code BOO&MADDIE.

This post is in collaboration with images supplied by Willow and Hall – thank you for supporting the brands that support my blog.

I LOVE that Westbury sofa. We’re actually looking for a lovely sofa bed for our living room as we no longer have a spare room and won’t have one for a few years and would like family to be able to come and stay. Definitely on the short list! x #homeetc

Is this a picture of your home!? The rooms are massive! I had a look at their site – there are some lovely choices and I like the fact they have such deep mattresses (something many other sofa beds overlook) We’re on the lookout for a sofa bed at the moment so these guys are definitely in the running. #homeetc

If only Alex!! That would be lovely 🙂 We do have fairly decent sized rooms but nothing like this. Yes if you do go for a sofabed I can definitely recommend Willow and Hall X

Ooooh! What a beautiful sofabed! I love it! I like it’s shape. We are still trying to come up with a versatile solution for our guest room so it can be a space for the kids to relax in for most of the year and a bedroom for the couple of weeks we have visitors. I really want to commission someone, though, because the sofabed in my head doesn’t exist!!

Haha oh Jane you are so similar to me, no matter what is on the market it’s never exactly what I’m looking for! I hope you find the perfect piece in the end X

This sounds great. Sofa beds don’t have the best reputation for quality, but this brand does sound good.

I totally agree, I think you have to be so careful who you go with. We ended up with Multiyork for similar reasons, because they are made here in the UK and have been very pleased with it so far X

This sofa is gorgeous! It was a surprise to scroll down the post to see that is actually a sofa bed (they don’t tend to be so pretty, do they)

I totally agree Gaby, normally sofa beds are so functional rather than stylish. We have one in one of our spare bedrooms and it’s super comfy X

Would love a nice sofa bed for our playroom/den/office downstairs as we have a sofa in there for the kids to watch TV or chill out, but it would be a good place for visitors staying, too. This one is lovely, thanks for sharing… #homeetc

Me too! I was desperate for one when we moved in, it will happen eventually X

Off to have a look RIGHT NOW!!! Our old sofa has absolutely had it. Painting the snug has certainly given it a new lease of life as it doesn’t look so grubby now, against the dark grey, but I’m definitely on the look out for a replacement. Thanks so much for sharing chickie! xx #HomeEtc

This is amazing! All furniture should be this versatile. I love that you could move home and still make it work for your living space xx
